가이드라인 상에는 아래와 같이 설명하고 있다. 지문 인식 장비 관련 API 셋인가보다.

나는 윈도 개발을 주 업무로 하고 있지 않은 터라
아직 윈도 7 관련 개발에 관한 이슈는 없지만...
